Children’s Therapy Services (Ages 12-18)

At Boost Psychology, we understand that young people today face a wide range of emotional, social, and behavioural challenges — often at a time in life when they are still learning how to express and understand their feelings. Adolescence can be a period of rapid change, uncertainty, and pressure, and it’s not uncommon for teens to struggle with anxiety, low mood, identity issues, school stress, family conflict, or peer relationships.

We’re here to help.

Our therapists provide compassionate, age-appropriate counselling for children and adolescents aged 12 to 18, offering a supportive and safe environment where they can talk openly and feel heard without judgement.

We offer therapy to assist with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and worry
  •  Low mood and depression
  •  School-related stress or disengagement
  •  Peer and friendship difficulties
  •  Family conflict and communication issues
  •  Identity, gender, and self-esteem concern
  • Bullying and cyberbullying
  •  Grief and loss
  •  Behavioural challenges
  •  Emotional regulation difficulties
  •  Self-harm and suicidal thoughts (early intervention and safety planning)

Our approach is collaborative and tailored, working not only with the young person but also involving parents or caregivers where appropriate — always with respect for the young person's confidentiality and autonomy.
